Jon Smith has been busy, toiling away in his Pacific Northwest Cavern, cranking out art prints, and now he’s emerged from the darkness, blinking at the fiery ball of light in the sky, and released them all upon us before scampering back to his twilight existence to prepare for the long, cold, wet Seattle Fall looming ahead.
What I’m saying is he’s pretty much a cave-troll. But a talented one. READ ON!
Above is pictured “FIRE WALK WITH ME” an 18×24 4 color screenprint, signed and numbered by Jon in an edition of 100. Originally produced for Gallery 1988’s Crazy for Cult show in NYC last month, this tribute to TWIN PEAKS is now available to haunt our walls and dreams.
“All this and Heaven Too” is an 18×24 art print version of Jon’s hit Florence and the Machine print from earlier this year! Also available in a red-hued variant, this open edition 4-color print is a beauty to behold in person!
Pictured above is probably the strangest item we’ve ever had on Nakatomi- “I DO COCAINE” is a uh…cocaine mirror. Really. Inspired by Doctor Rockso from Adult Swim’s Metalocalypse, this piece was made for Gallery 1988 and Adult Swim’s January 2012 group show in Los Angeles. The mirrors are 12×12 square and are signed and numbered by Jon in a tiny edition of only 50, with MUCH less for available for sale.
Here’s a pic of the actual mirror!
These new prints are all available RIGHT NOW in the Jon Smith section of the Nakatomi store!
