We are very excited to share our newest releases in the Bernie Wrightson Frankenstein Artist Edition series, “Eyes They May Be” and “Reflection” available HERE in the Nakatomi store now!

Originally drawn in the late 70’s early 80’s, Bernie’s Frankenstein illustrations were (and remain) at the height of fantasy pen-and-ink illustrations. Highly regarded, often imitated, but never surpassed. Wrightson’s work here is a triumph.

“Reflection” measures 12×18″ & is hand-numbered & embossed in an edition of 300.

Reflection is one of the ‘lost’ illustrations from Wrightson’s Frankenstein suite, as it was created for, but ultimately left out of the original publication. Presented at it’s drawn size of 12×18″ in a hand-numbered and embossed edition of 300. $50, limit two per household.

Prints are reproduced from scans of the original art board, provided by film director, Frank Darabont. These print gives the viewer a glimpse into the work of a master.

The exacting detail of the line work in Wrightson’s work has never before been reproduced so clearly.

Prints are Hand-numbered and embossed in the bottom corner with Bernie’s distinctive “W” logo, Printed on archival acid free 100% cotton rag natural white paper, with archival inks, produced in-house at the Nakatomi Print Labs. Prints will ship within two weeks of the release date.
