Hello Nakatomi Peoples!

The Original Nakatomi Fellow, Clint Wilson, has 2 brand new prints in his GYOTAKU print series!

Gyotaku (魚拓) is a traditional Japanese art form dating back to the 1800’s, where a fisherman would print an impression of a fish onto paper to record their catch. It involves applying ink to a fish and then pressing paper onto it to create a print.

“Spongebom Gyotaku” 18×24 Limited First Edition of 100.

Wilson has re-imagined the art form to encompass a world where one would catch a Spongebob or one starfish in particular! (But you have to wonder- does Patrick…taste good?)

“Patrick Gyotaku” 18×24 Limited First Edition of 100.

Each print measures 18×24 inches, and is hand-printed on French Speckletone paper, and is signed and numbered and printed by Clint Wilson in limited first editions of 100 copies each. Prints are $50.

Purchase either print and receive a bonus mini print of one particularly nasty PLANKTON! (below)

Look at that little jerk!

Prints are in hand and ready for immediate shipment. Pick them up HERE now! Prints are $50 each.

Thank you all so much, and thank you to Clint Wilson for 16 years of great art here at Nakatomi!
