ULTRAMAN DAY Print releases from Tom Whalen and Alex Ross!

Nakatomi is very proud to announce our Kaiju-sized partnership with Tsuburaya Productions of Japan, and The Licensing Group Ltd for our upcoming, ongoing series of Ultraman prints!
Prints will be available on Saturday July 10th at 2pm Central in the ULTRAMAN section of the Nakatomi store HERE.
First debuting on television in Japan, 55 years ago on July 10th in 1966, Ultraman is a cultural icon known around the world!
To help ring in the 55th year, we’ve tapped artist extraordinaire, Tom Whalen to produce an Official 55th Anniversary print, celebrating our silver hero and some of his most famous opponents!
“Ultraman 55th Anniversary” regular edition print (Pictured above) measures 20×30″ with TWO metallic silver inks, and is available in a TIMED EDITION from Saturday July10th at 2pm Central through Tuesday July 13th at 10pm Central. Prints will retail at $50 each. Limit 2 per household. Print will be hand-numbered and hand embossed. Edition size will be determined by the amount sold during the release window. Tom’s print is also available as a SILVER foil print, in a hand-numbered and embossed edition of 66 copies (for 1966, naturally!) Limit one per household, $100 each. (Pictured Below)

“Despite being immersed in kaiju culture from a very early age, I had never seen a full episode of Ultraman until i was well into my twenties. It wasn’t until I attended a late night screening of the pilot episode that I fully understood what absolute insanity the Ultra-universe held in store. Needless to say, I’ve been hooked ever since and I’m honored and humbled to help celebrate Ultraman’s 55th with Tsuburaya and Nakatomi!”
Available at the same time, Nakatomi is proud to announce the release of a limited edition Alex Ross Ultraman print, available for the first time, and exclusive to Nakatomi!
This STUNNING piece by renowned illustrator and comic book artist Alex Ross, is available as a fine-art Giclee, painstakingly reproduced from scans of the original art board. Available in an 18×24″ edition of 250 for $60 each, and an ULTRA-SIZED 24×36” edition of only 66 for $150 each. Each print will be hand-numbered and hand-embossed. Limit two per household. Prints will be available HERE at the drop time!
Printed on lush 100% acid-free cotton rag 305 gsm natural watercolor stock, with archival light-safe (and appropriately named) Ultrachrome ink, and produced in-house at the Nakatomi print labs. This first-time-ever art print of this masterpiece must be seen in person to be truly appreciated.

-Both Tom Whalen and Alex Ross‘ Ultraman prints will go on sale at 2pm Central on Saturday, July 10th in observance of Ultraman Day!
-Prints will be available for purchase HERE in the Nakatomi store at the drop time.
–Tom Whalen’s timed-release regular edition will be available from then until Tuesday, July 13th at 10pm Central, at which point sales will close and the edition size will be set.
-Production will begin in-house at Nakatomi shortly afterwards, and all prints are expected to ship within 4-5 weeks of the start of the sale period.
