This coming Wrightson Wednesday, 6/16 at 2pm Central, Nakatomi will be releasing “Into the Swamp”, in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of his most enduring co-creation!

Print will be available HERE in the Bernie Wrightson section of the Nakatomi store.

Available in an 18×24 limited edition of 300, or a 24×36 limited edition of 20

Never before published, this rarely seen painting was created back in the late 1990’s, and has been in the collection of special effects wizard, Kevin Kutchaver ever since- unseen for years. Kevin was gracious enough to crack open his framed original and present us with a lavish, intensely detailed scan of the painting, so we could bring you this fine art Giclée.

The detail of this painting reveals an artist at work- the impressionistic way the light filters through the canopy of trees is a revelation coming from an artist widely known for his black and white line art. Wrightson was truly a master of any style he chose.



As with all our Wrightson releases, “Into the Swamp” is printed on lush 100% archival acid-free cotton rag 305 gsm natural watercolor stock, with archival light-safe Ultrachrome ink, and produced in-house at the Nakatomi print labs. This first-time-ever printing of this masterpiece must be seen in person to be truly appreciated.

Release Details-
Available in an 18×24″ edition of 300 for $75, or a super-limited 24×36″ edition of only 20 copies, for $200 each.
Each print will be hand-numbered and embossed with Bernie’s “W” logo.
Prints will be available HERE in the Bernie Wrightson section of the Nakatomi store on Wednesday the 16th at 2pm.
Orders will begin shipping the following week.

Produced under agreement with the Wrightson Estate. As always, the artist’s share of the proceeds of this sale go to Liz Wrightson.
