UNREAL ESTATE 2!
This Thursday (2/7) at 6pm, SpokeArt San Francisco will open it’s doors on the new exhibition, UnReal Estate 2- the second solo art show by Nakatomi founder, Tim Doyle. A follow up to last year’s sold out show (which you can see the entirety of HERE) this year’s UE2 features 10 new limited edition screen prints of pop-culture locations.
You can RSVP at the official event page HERE.
Tim Doyle will be in attendance at the opening, so please come on by to meet and greet! Also- free beer. Beer makes a Doyle a lot easier to handle, trust us. The first 100 people at the show get a 12×18 screenprint that is exclusive to the event!
The show will be all silkscreen prints, and the original pen and ink drawings used to create the pieces will be for sale as well. All prints will be limited in their regular edition to 125-175 copies, and the variants (not every print will have a variant) will be in smaller editions of anywhere from 30-75. Last year’s show was limited to 100 copies of everything, and unfortunately a lot of people got shut out of purchasing, so we upped the qty’s a bit to hopefully make it a little easier to get a print! Also- all the original art sold out the day of the opening last year- if you’re interested, I would definitely contact SpokeArt about a preview possibility!
Any prints unsold at the gallery will be available on theSpokeArt store shortly thereafter!
Most of the images for the show are under lock and key, but we’ll post a full write-up when we can!
Until then, check these out, and see you guys at the show!
Above is pictured the glow variant edition of ‘Good News, Everyone!’ Below is pictured ‘Worst Print Ever’ which was released as a NYCC exclusive back in October, and will be available for purchase online for the first time this coming weekend!
And- here’s the free print available only to those in attendance at the show!-
“By the Power” 12×18
There is also a preview of another print in this month’s issue of Juxtapoz and HI-fructose, but you’ll have to pick those publications up to see it!
So come on out, and for those of you who can’t make it, we’ve been told the show will go on the SpokeArt website the following Friday- 2/8.
Thank you!
